I talked to an Asian guy who said the only job you don't want in his military is to be the guy carrying the radio, because it weighs a lot, you still have to carry all the stuff of other guys, you run around too much, and IRL you'd be the one snipers aimed for.

Heh, I remember being stuck lugging the PRC-25 sets when I was in cadets....it's really cool,......for about 15 minutes then it's just a pig, a pig with spotty reception most of the time

Yeah, lots of other anchors that "had" to be there but couldnt actually be used on exercise, like the 84, 60mm. ahhh good times, good times.

Please, I'm sure the Taiwanese can develop their own stuffs(read BenQ)........

And also keep in mind in that part of region(HK ,Japan, Taiwan, ROK, etc) their mainstream mobile phone technologies are at least one generation ahead of us...... and I'm sure that they are the ones(esp. the Japanese) that thinks the Apple iPhone is "nothing special" on function-wise, and they critizes that it didn't supports 3G technology ......
