Was out hunting with my father and spotted a large fat ass in front of us about 200 yards away. Put the binoculars on it and yup, that's a bear's backside and a decent sized butt to boot. The bear then turned around and started trotting towards us as I raised my rifle and that's when the bear stepped out of the shadows and into the bright sunlight. That's when the large hump, the face, and the colour stood out. That is a very silver grizzly. He got within about 100 yards of us before slowly turning and veering into the thick underbrush. We decided it was smarter to just walk back to the vehicle. Gorgeous animal... too bad we can no longer hunt them
