Yea I noticed it. They used them because they look futuristic since they came from a space station. They filmed it in Vancouver. Its a ####ty show though. Poorly written. My wife loved it. I hated it.

I personally think its one of the best TV show ive seen! lots of action, plot twists and cliffhangers that keep you on the edge of your seat for the next episode.

Come on man the show was as predictable as Don Lemon on CNN when he has a right wing guest. Tells his guest not to speak over him and that he will give his guest a chance to speak. Then his guest starts speaking and he immediately interrupts him/her. Guest says something that makes Don look like an idiot so Don turns his guest microphone off and then ends the interview with him preaching the choir with his other guest that shares the same stupid SJW opinion as him.

Idk, i thought it was full of surprises, people dying I wasn't expecting, people discovering things I wasn't expecting etc. I don't watch alot of TV shows, but other than Spartacus, this show is so far my favorite. Walking dead is a close third..
Breaking Bad was good, but it had too many episodes that were boring, Dexter dragged on to long, Lost started to get too weird. Hell on wheels felt rushed after the 2 season....

Its only filmed in Canada. Its an American series. Vancouver has probably the best film industry in Canada followed by Toronto. Its a good industry to work for if you don't mind long work hours and the anti gun ignorance of your peers who only have a PAL just so they can have the job. Oh yea... having a PAL is highly valued in the film industry because they need someone who can legally transport the firearms for the show.

I used to love the show, but lately I want to punch every single character in the face, especially in the current season.
