The 30-30 club, are you in?

I have a Marlin 30AS, a Savage 340 and a Savage 219 single shot. Keeping my eyes peeled for a pre64 Winny but am happy with my current shooters. The 340 is very accurate at 50 and 75 yd targets (my eyes dont bother trying non-scoped rifles beyond that distance anymore)
My Marlin has a 2.5-8x scope and is 2.5moa all day at 100yds. I just dont worry about bughole shooting with my fun guns!!

Marlin 336Y, Skinner peep sights, and a Rhodesian sling and cuff from Andy's Leather.

30-30 Club!

I inherited my grandfathers Winchester Model 94 a few years back and it still shoots like a new rifle.
It's one gun that i will never get rid of and will stay in the family as long as i have something to say about it.

1893 Marlin 1906 or 1916 vintage hard to tell with the Marlin records, still works just fine.

Here is my 336W with a Champion stock set from Elwood Epps north of Orillia,ON for $70

I hunt with gloves on so the Big Loop works for me. I even did the paracord wrap on there myself!

It’s a Remlin Production rig but honestly they got these babies right and I’m pleased. I even took the liberty of hand rubbing Carnauba wax all over that bead blasted and blues factory finish in anticipation of the fall season. There, no more worrisome rust situations to think about.

Cheers, Barney

How do you like it? Saw the deal on at Cabela's and was thinking about it... Except the cost of ammo will kill me eventually!
