I've always wanted a Winchester 94 in 30-30 and about 10 years ago I was able to pick up a pristine 30-30 manufactured in 1942, it's absolutely beautiful and will be with me until I leave this old world. It is absolutely my NO SELL gun

Yes, I have easily owned over a couple dozen over the years.... including the elusive Rem 788 bolt rifle in .30-30 Win....

Currently have about 5, all Win '94's of one description or another [including a pre 64 carbine and RB rifle]........................

The only kind of .30-30 lever I see myself getting next would be a Marlin 336 type that I can scope.

I've had a couple of lever 30-30's...

Presently I own 2 30-30 bolt actions, but I will soon be down to one, as the other is being raffled off over on huntingbc.

No real interest in owning another lever 30-30, or most lever guns in general.

Model 94 (1953) in mint condition. Replaced rear sight with Williams FP aperature sight. Its a keeper.

Pharaoh2 I wish I could find a hunting buddy like you in Ontario! Every time I go to respond to a post I see you responding with similar views as my own. I live near Toronto and it's damn hard finding some good hunting buddies! Think I finally found some. You wouldn't believe how many people I know that think I am wierd for wanting to go hunting, let alone shooting handguns!

1957 model 94 in .30-30. Great carry and deer gun. My son shot his first deer last year with it!
