The 30-30 club, are you in?

there are 2 rifles that i regret selling, and i have sold alot, and both of them are 30-30, one was a savage 340 lite as a feather, and the other was a H&R topper 158 single shot, that was even ligther than the 340 and both would group 1 3/4 at 100yds

I had a post 64 Mod 94. It was OK.....so it went the way of many of my guns on to different things (I'd say bigger and better, but that's just not true in my case)

If my luck changes I may be the proud new owner of GHs savage. Fingers crossed.

Found a nice Model 64 Win. at the local Gun Shop and purchased same forthwith! Turned out to be a good shooter. Its a keeper.

Any of you guys had a look recently at the new Mossberg lever 30-30? The guy doing the writeup seemed to think it was something special. Yeah, right, been there before. Looks nice though. Ill stick with my Marlin.

You're right in that it looks nice. I think they were hoping to capitalize on the absence of the '94 Winchester from the market place.
I can't comment on the rifle as far as it's quality, or shoot ability, never held one. It would be typical of Mossberg if it's cheap, and functional IMO.
