the .340 Weatherby Magnum...

Thank you very much for your feedback, and the benefit of your experience with this. I was thinking about that - the idea of loading it down if I needed or wanted to. Besides, I already have some .375 H&H brass.:rolleyes:

I sure like the sound of 250 grain .33 cal bullets going 3000 fps. ;) Besides, this rifle I'm looking at has the removable Accubrake on it, so I can take it off for hunting if I want to - so as to preserve my buddies (and my own) ears.

Oh boy...here I go.:p

nice rifle, i dont care much for the muzzle brake, you can learn to shoot that without the break, i put one on my 340, then years later never used it , it had a cap that covered the threads when the brake was off, have fun,,, wade

Hi Wade,

Yes, this one was supposed to have a cap to cover the threads...but it's long gone I guess. Maybe I can buy one from weatherby?
