As far as I know these are the must have X39 rifles, So Far I got.

Vz52/57
SKS
SKS-D ( Should be here next week )
Rasheed ( Should be here next week )
Vz58

So do you guys know what I should get next in X39 ? :confused: Is there and obscure gun I don't have ? Yeah I know they are more SKS variants but I dont like SKS's so 2 suffice. and after shooting the Vz52/57 my SKS stays in the safe when I hit the range. lol...

Just looking for some ideas on what I should get next to add to my collection of X39 riffles.

Zastava M85 bolt gun. If TradEx gets the Manlicher stock ones back, go that route. But if you must have "Right Now!" you can get the regular carbine from CanAm for a song:

Got my full stock from Corwin-Arms last year when he was blowing them out before xMas (merry xMas to me!) and don't regret it for a minute. It isn't a CZ, but it's an accurate, handsome, durable, reliable bush gun for deer.

If you have the $$ and want a smoother bolt and nicer fit and finish, go for the CZ 527. It's impossible to go wrong buying a CZ.
 
I think a Valmet M62 is to rich for my blood ( would be worth more then my entirer X39 collection lol ). But Im keeping an eye out on Gunbroker, They are way cheaper then what they sell for up here.

Thanks for the heads up on the CZ527 didnt even think of that one. will do some more research.

The hardest riffle to find was the Rasheed, Took me close to 3 years to find one. I actually ended up finding 2, One with no mag and one with 2 mags. So I will have one for sale on EE once I receive both and keep the one I like the best.

Do you guys know if the Magpul AK mags fit the SKS-D ?

The only 7.62x39 rifle EVERYBODY MUST have is a RUSSIAN (because it's the original) SKS.

It is the cheapest shooting fun you can have with a center fire rifle, period!

Rifles an ammo are available everywhere and cheap.

You are absolutely right of course, but now, because of this thread, I need at CZ527.
 
Ok thanks for the info Ill just get 1 mag and try it out first. But since im such a unlucky SOB mine wont work... lol...

That's the one. I turned my nose up at them when they were coming in thinking they would be the sh!tz being made in Vietnam.
