ThE Albanian SKS

Very nice collection yourself!
I just picked up a red glass jungle stock for my Chinese. Took me awhile to find one for a blade bayonet.

Sweet D there! Also love that Rus laminate on the refurb!

hey thanks.... sksman.com has red jungle stock both for spike and blade , at a reasonable price ... i find the jungle is much better than the original chu wood but cant beat a laminated .

note to others , the jungle need to be custom fited , took me a freaking hour of filing but now its in solid.:dancingbanana:

Alb Sks .

Glad to hear that the Albanian SKS is so wanted now days, some 25 years ago wail I was a student at the university of Tirana Albania { that time communist regime} it was mandatory to have a military training as part of the academic program .So I have carried one of those ugly ones for 2 weeks every year and instructed on how to use , shoot , and maintain it. Well at the end of 2 weeks we had to qualify with the rifle 100 m distance, 3 shoots .Out of every class we would chose 3-4 best rifles to qualify with because the rest of them where not factory sighted, and you cant hit nothing with them . I remember the instructor at the range was setting the rear sight on 3 and recommending us to aim on the bottom of the target so the bullet can hit on the center .Almost all of them are very low quality machined and the funny think is that the sling attachment is on the side of the but stock , so if you don’t pay attention you end up with a nice black mark on the face .No I don’t think I like to go back to one of those .Anyway they are made in UZINA E ARMEVE GRAMSH , { Army Factory at Gramsh } using some very low quality milling machines imported from China . Thanks for the thread though it brought back some forgotten memories
