But life is too short to have only one caliber...
I apologize if this topic has already come up a million times, my searches gave me nothing.
I don't know if it exists, but I'm looking for your guys' opinion of the most versatile hunting round. One that is enough for a bear, a deer or a moose, available at any shop, economical and accurate.
If you could only have one, what would it be?
Thanks a lot for the info, much appreciated.
I was thinking 30.06, but wanted your feedback. How does 30.06 compare in price to 30-30 and 308? I don't hand load, and I go through a ton of ammo so the cheaper the better.
7mm Remington Magnum.....shoots as flat as a 270 and hits as hard or harder than a 30-06...available in almost any rifle....ammo available where ever ammo is sold....kicks no more than a 30-06......what's not to like?
