The all new Famae flat top.

We have been advised this was an issue with the handguard supplier, they told us they will be sending out replacement handguards. No ETA yet, but will be sent for free when we have more details

If an additional shipment of replacement warranty handguards is being sent it would be great if Tactical Imports could stock spare handguards/stocks

shot my SG 542 today and it makes really nice groups and no jam. It didn't like the Barnaul ammo at all. Worked well with PPU Rangemaster 7.62X51mm

We got folding stocks, but they forgot to send hardware so we quickly de-listed from site until we could get

What could be missing besides the Bolt which attaches the stock to the Lower Receiver? If it is just the Bolt missing, I can locally source that. Will you sell me a stock without the Bolt if that is the only missing piece?

Just received my 542.
Packaging was fine and well bubble wrapped.
The finish is really nice.
Definitely a very ###y rifle.

The only ret*rded thing: both handguards appear too short? Not sure how this passed quality control?

Everyone has short handguards. Tactical Imports said it was a problem with the handguard supplier.

We're all supposed to get new ones when they're available.

Regarding optics, what do you guys think about an Aimpoint "unity" red dot and magnifier?

Anything by Aimpoint will exude quality and will most likely prove to be bomb-proof for durability. That said, only you can decide if 3x magnification will be adequate for your needs. I much prefer a Low-Power Variable Optic such as a 1-8x or 1-10x, preferably with some form of Bullet-Drop Compensation, for a Battle Rifle that is expected to reach out to 500m. I leave the 3x magnifier set-ups to PCC applications, say to a maximum engagement range of 100m. YMMV....

Do you mean Aimpoint on a unity riser? I would think it would be too high. I don't think you need much of a riser on the sg rifles. I was thinking of a primary arms 3x or 5x prism on my 542 or a 1-6 lpvo.
