H & R 5200 with target sights. Produced supposedly to run competition to the Winchester 52.
Redfield Palma Rear Sight and Olympic front.

Good looking rifle. I have the US contract M12 version..... These were not made in 'competition' to the Win52D, they filled the following contract after them. When it comes to US property match guns, they are ordered in set numbers. When the gov requested a new order to replace worn out 52s, Winchester flat out refused, so they put out a contract for bid to other manufacturers and this is what the gov went with. The 5200 you see here is the civilian version of the m12. They were made from 1981 to 1984. Here is the manual. https://www.dropbox.com/s/fbbnw8ume3atk3y/H&R M12 Owners Manual v2.pdf?dl=0

I have the Redfield peep sights for it also. The rifle was NOT drilled and tapped, the scope mount is attached to the original peep sight mounting holes, and the rear unertl type scope block on the barrel.

Managed to pick up a second Sako Finnfire Range.

Look at that potbelly!!!! Connon likey!

I would like to have one of these.
I'm a big Tikka Master Sporter fan.
In fact its one of my favorite rifle and the stock have alot to do with it.
Nice rifle !

My father, a retired cabinet maker and carpenter with a shop full of tools, helped me fashion a 1407 stock into a BR style stock like the one in the previous post. I put a 1407 barreled action with the recently finished stock.

I'm a fan of these rifles as well. I much prefer the original walnut stock over the new laminated stock on the Tikka Sporter and new Sako P04 Range.

Those are terrific looking rifles, marcoman. And they can't be easy to find.

Here's a European-made rifle that doesn't appear to be easy to find either. Unfortunately, I have to wait a few months to try it out.

Epoxy7, the top Walther looks like a Running Boar. The second appears to have a trigger similar to the KKJ-T. What Walther is the second? A silhouette rifle?

You are 100 percent correct. The top is a running boar. The second is a KKJ-T but it came in a custom thumb hole stock from a previous owner. The third one is a KKJ-T that a previous owner slimmed down the fore end on. Although I would have preferred it untouched, it does really handle well off hand. The last one is a KKJ sporter (Magazine fed).

I lucked out with that running boar. A number of years ago Tradex brought in a bunch of Annie 54's and guys were going nuts over them. I already have a 54 and the prices were good but the best ones went pretty much instantly. Well... the next page had the running boar. Everyone was so focused on the Annies that they didn't notice that Walther!! Let's just say, I didn't hesitate!

By the way some pretty amazing rifles on this thread. Thanks everyone for sharing!

Thank you. The P94 Range was never very common and the new Sako P04 Range is a rare bird in Canada as well. I'm sure you will agree that finding and acquiring the guns on display in this thread is as much a thrill as the ownership and use of them. There are still a few out there that I am actively seeking!

Beautiful Walther BTW. It shares a similar shape to the GX1. Is this Walther's silhouette rifle?
