The Anschutz,Cooper,Sako,Walther,Krico,Weihrauch...You get the idea, picture thread!

Some old pictures of my Sako P94s Finnfire Range. Some may notice the that it's got a TRG bolt handle, I think it suits the rifle better than the factory one.

Having great results with my Anschutz 1727F and S+B combo...

Trigger set to 90gm..

Takes about 30 shots to get it warmed up and then the groups shrink dramatically.

It's a 1418, 64 action. A really early one, 1958 or 59. Double set trigger, 3 leaf sight. The spacer and fore end tip are Buffalo horn.

New to me Anschutz 190. Interesting it doesn't have the C.I.L stamp on it.
I'm okay with that. I believe early, mid 70's ? If anyone else knows better plz let me know.

Also on RFC someone posted a painted 190 with Red anodized turret caps, any idea if a guy can still get some, or just replacement turrets would be okay too.

The serial number is mid-70's. Some Anschutz rifles, at least Model 190's, didn't have a date stamp. I had one that didn't have one. The rifle isn't a CIL model, although the CIL Anschutz 190 is very much the same. Anschutz made a Model 190, which may have superseded the very similar 1403 and is specifically identified in the Anschutz owners manual for the 1403/1403D/190 models. Your rifle looks to be like an early 190 as its forestock bottom is parallel to the barrel, unlike those in later models whose forestocks were sloped.

On a post on RFC you asked about the Anschutz accessory rail on the bottom of the forestock. These rails are usual for smallbore target rifles. They are used to attach accessories such as moveable hand stops or when necessary a sling for prone shooting.

Walther KKMS

KKMS.JPG

Your rifle appears to be the Laufende Scheibe or Running Boar model. These can be made(slimming the beavertail forend and reducing the depth of the forend , locking the cheekpiece to be no higher than bore centre and fixing in position and modifying the butt ) to qualify for metallic silhouette. The KKMS stock is also a thumbhole but non-adjustable and actually just fits into the jig for standard rifles or Silhouette rifle. The metal work is the same with each rifle. Modifying such a fine rifle, as I've seen done, to conform to silho rules would be a brutal injustice.
Very nice rifle nonetheless !

Thank you dryfire, the rifle is an original MS-Laufende Scheibe made in 1978 without any modify. The barrel weight was missing and left some scratch, covered by a tube for air condition.
