My experience with swfa is that they are good scopes "for the money" based on the opinion of someone who knows his stuff. I think he also paints stuff too, so maybe the fumes have gotten to him. But I trust his judgment. I have never owned one.
If I wanted a cheap optic right now I'd buy a cabelas covenant.
If I put together a beauty of a build like you did, I would drop on a Leupold, or a Nightforce.
Any experience with nightforce?

The SS aren't cheap scopes. They are good quality, Japanese manufactured, accurate-repeatable scopes, with a long track record for durability. They just happen to be priced very competitively. It's not like he put a Cabelas Covenant on it.
 
That's a glowing review. How long have you had these scopes for? How many have you had? Any higher magnification ones?

Enjoy your rifle. Your experience with these scopes is apparently as limited as mine.
 
This scope was half the price and might just cause a stroke or two. :)
