I’m curious what loads were settled on. Just picked up a fieldcraft in 6.5 creedmoor and am deciding which bullets to try first. It’s also wearing an swfa 3-9 so the loads won’t matter much. It’ll be spraying them all over like a shotgun probably.

All kidding aside though, when choosing optics I like to buy American. It really helps keep their ammunition sector afloat, having to fire 37 rounds re-zeroing my scope every few months.
Uh oh, Bill is becoming one of those hipster snipersexuals with their junky Asian scopes.

Elevation turret broke off.
Is this a common problem with quality scopes of incredible value?

No, the circumstances need to be just right.

Thank you. That’s interesting and a new one on me. We’ve found them to be very durable and repeatable. And not just for the price point. Hope you get it sorted soon.
They seem very durable but when a massive 500 lb steel object gets slammed into the turret while the rifle is held securely in place, something is going to give.
For the record I’ve also had leupold and vortex turrets come off, but in a much more traditional firearms usage manner.
To SWFAs credit, they said they would warranty it, whereas Leupolds warranty wouldn’t cover something like that.
