I spent the last few days getting my rifle ready for bear hunting with Steeleco . Put a recoil pad on ,made a scope mount for it and then had to build up the stock with a cheekpad . I painted the whole thing grey because it was a clapped out milsurp 30-06.I know the milsurp guys go ape over stuff like that but its an old beater. Well anyway I was just finished mounting the scope so I reach for my bolt and dropped it on the floor.It snapped the end of the firing pin housing and firing pin off. There goes that rifle for this hunt. I'll have to use my Rem 742 for the hunt. Well I don't have to stop by the range to sight it in on the way hunting . Bad karma go away now
