Nice, real nice. Thanks for posting. Reminds me of the 12 gauge upper I saw around here the other day, Questar I think?
 
The rifle shoots great! My buddy and I compared it to a 12ga slug as far as recoil goes.

Right now I'm shooting 335gr Rainer's at about 2000fps. This is the first load I've tried and it seems to work well. Ill make more loads throughout the summer and do some groupings to see what works best.

The mag is pinned to 5 rounds, sorry guys. Haha. Those mags aren't made by AA and will not accept .223 rounds because they have a flat follower. They work 100x better for the Beowulf rounds than the .223 followers do. So I save my AA mags for my other AR's :)
 
I am considering one of these bad boys but just can't seem to get over the fact that I won't be able to get mags. What's the recoil like on that thing? Are those case heads prone to separating?


Completely missed your last post.. Where would you get these other mags.. As I have no desire for a semi 223 a dedicated mag would suit me fine
