The best 1911 in 22LR?

I like my GSG 1911-22. I think Al Flaherty's in Toronto has got them for $360. I know I've seen them at Al Simmons in Hamilton, but l can't remember what they were asking for them.

simmons is asking $425 for the gsg. Does Flahery's or Epps have shipping costs? Ill order it today if they don't. I'm ten minutes from simmons but they have the tendency to be higher price than most.

my reason for wanting a 1911 .22 besides the obvious ammo cost is that I want to get my holster cert with a 1911 and get lots of practice for less cost. Then get a .45 and go from there. I intend on getting a blackhawk thigh rig too. (cant draw from the hip)

I have the kimber rimfire and it has been excellant.I also owned a gsg which was a fine gun but not as accurate as the Kimber.I also had a few problems with the gsg. Much prefer the kimber, although it does not replicate the weight of a 1911 as well as the gsg.

I have the SIG badged GSG and it is nice. This being said buying the Kimber 45 you want and then the 22lr conversion kit is another option and the quality is likely the best. I have done this as well, it works nicely. you can't lose.
