i was considering the m-14 whitefeather from springfield but the fact that they don't offer a forged reciever has put me off i don't wanna go with a norinco i have heard there is a manu.... in the states that is offering one anyone know who?

LRB are the people to go to for that.

No to mention the U.S. export permit hassles...............The Norinco Forged receiver is just as good an any USGI reciever.Plus you can buy a complete Norinco M14 for $399.00 Cdn. they make a great base in which to build on.
The White feather is a huge waste of money.You can build up a Norcinco receiver with better aftermarket parts for waaay less then the price of the White feather.
