Here's a favorite of mine taken at Delta Marsh in Manitoba. It was colder than it looks. Although, in Manitoba doesn't that go without saying?

Found that ghostly hoot hooter........:D

And then I got close to him.......

There were a couple of nice bucks standing on the river bank. Of course the big one
didn't stick around.

This tree was just down river from the photo above. The eagles added to the beauty
of this old tree.

Me and the gunpowder feller were out quadding last year and we went for
a little hike. These are the prints he leaves behind...........:p

That previous photo of the grouse up in the tree, well she was watching
her little ones. They hadn't grown their wing feathers for flying yet.

Wile E. Coyote was lucky today. He was scoping out some cattle and there
were a few calfs in the crowd. House just down the road, so no lookyluck.

Here's another of that previous grouse. Never seen one puffed up like this.
Only with their tail feathers in peacock formation.

This was a curious chap............

Of course you have all seen these hooked fish stealing feathers........

This one was in the line up........

And a funny looking beaver..........

This one I took for Canada Day......just a moo out there enjoying hisself.......

So long fer now.............

A few years ago upon return to my 'Moose' hunting cabin in the B.C. central interior, as I was about to park I noticed movement adjacent to where I was going to park. A small covey of Spruce Grouse was feeding on small blue berry bushes so I got out and snapped a few quick pictures.

Your photo is my favorite out of the who bunch on this thread. It brings back memories to me when hunting ducks on water, over decoys, and in a boat.
