''Ghost moose calf?

g`day Drew.

It was there when I posted it! One more try. I am guessing 10 days old?

I'm thinking closer to three weeks.
He sure has filled out beautifully, and I think that may take longer than ten days.
Mommy is sure proud of him.

There's something familiar about that face. I can't decide if it's Allan Rock or Charles Manson that little guy reminds me of. Maybe both!:D

Digital cameras are great for filling in those little memories of the hunt - especially those that may not stay with us so well & after we lock up the guns for our last season. And the date/time stamps of those images are so exacting & forever mark us at a certain place & time in our lives.

Having said that, I'm most active with the camera on the way to & from my hunting grounds. In between a wield the 'other' gun. My images are mostly of the autumn foliage & wilderness vistas - that is synonymous with the hunting experience.

The first image is of a rural road that I take to my #1 covet, the second is of a blueberry field near that covert, the third of the harvest moon rising on a road that I take on the way home, & the fourth of a familiar scene above & at that time of year:

To all posters:

Thanks very much for sharing the parts of this great country of ours that many (us folk in suburbia) do not get to appreciate.

I have had the chance to get to a number of parts of Canada thanks to a passion of mine (coaching) and love it out west with all the space ans scenery etc., but am always interested in seeing those areas off the beaten path.
