The Best Red Dot Ever?

I guess for shooting at close distances the aimpoint I have looked through seemed to be quite good But the best for longrange hunting like I do with my 7mm wsm 300 out to 600 yards pretty hard to beat the double dot nightforce on a 8to32 benchrest I sight the top dot at 300 and the bottom red dot is 4min high which puts my gun on at 500 at 600 just put dot on back of whitetail

If you're in a hurry with close targets, the Eotech. Can't beat the circle-dot thing. If you want long battery life, Aimpoint. If you're cheap, any hong-kong clone. if you want something ultra-light, any of the doctor optic clones (fastfire, pride-fowler, etc.).

Anytime you ask a question about "the best", you have to define what you want to achieve. It's like asking what the best motor vehicle is. For what? speed in a straight line? Cargo capacity? Handling on twisty back roads? Different answer depending on your needs.
