The big game chambering with the longest uninterrupted reign in your safe

Various .270 rifles in the safe since 1975......So 40 years.........I always thought that if it was good enough for "Jack" , it was likely a pretty good caliber.
 
I have had my Ross M-10-303 for 48 years, long before I ever got a safe. Lived in many closets over the years.

Ruger M77 in 270 Win, my first hunting rifle bought used in 1980, so 35 years. After looking up the serial number it turns out that the rifle was made in 1978.
 
7x61 Sharpe And Hart that is what I started my hunting with thank goodness my dad is left handed and he owned 1 right handed rifle so that's what I got and kept
 
Winchester 94 in 30-30 45 years
BSA in 270 Win 43 years
Remington 700 in 22/250 43 years
338 Win mag on a P17 action 41 years
 
Tang safety Ruger 77 in 06 with a Redfield 2-7 widefield, only big game rifle for 35 years, smaller caliber varmint rifles seem to be my addiction..
 
Well although I am still in my first year of gun ownership, I feel like I may as well share. My grandfather has owned a ridiculous number of guns, at one time he figures he has around 35-40 at once. My grandmother made him sell most, but the survivors he has had for around 50-60 years.
Winchester model 70 in 7mm rem mag
30-06 I believe the make is savage, not sure on the model
Two 30-30s again not sure make and model but one was issued to a ranger around world war two, even has the stamp to prove it.

He had so many that he wasn't even 100% sure what he had left. I actually ran into a gun in storage by accident that he had forgotten about.
 
I've been using a T-3 270 WSM since the 2004 season. I also have a 30-06 and a 338 WM in my safe, but I haven't used either since I bought the WSM. It makes for a nice, flat shooting deer cartridge for where we hunt, southern Alberta.

35-40 haha there are several members on here with hundreds.
 
Tang safety Ruger 7x57 about 20 years. Probably got the most use overall (shot my moose with it this year [and moose and sheep last year])
Browning A-bolt micro medallion 7mm-08 about 17 years.
