The Big Range Opened Today

The electronic targets worked? Do you mean there is a small monitor beside the shooter and see where the bullet hits or the shooter controls the target, up and down?

Jesus christ THATS a range! I thought the 20-something lanes and 200m at my range was decent, but damn son...

I have been a member there for three years and the price is very good, depending what discipline your shoot the price varies. You do need a special ATT but lots of room to stretch out your legs. The pistol ranges are really nice too.

The e-targets are Silver Mountain Targets. You need a display like a tablet, laptop, smart phone, etc to log onto the firing point server. Great system, we use them at my range too.

I now have something to add to my to-do list next time I go back east... Go to this range! lol

So is it only open during the summer then? Closed while the snow is on the ground?

Will we be shooting on them at nationals? Homestead uses them, I'm a fan but I only speak for myself.

The e-targets are great for practice but I think we are at least 15 years away from using them at the national level. Personally I would like to see them used at 300m to get people used to using them, but there would need to be a huge rulebook change.

Connaught is a military base. Civilian range access is organized and structured. You can't just drop in and shoot. Look for DCRA, NCRRA.
