Sadly, I have no pic to start this thread off with (yet), but I do have a VZ24 on the way, my first surprisingly.
These have been recently imported in bulk in a captured com bloc refurb format (some say Russian refurb, others say 1950's Romanian refurb) so there ought to be a LOT of CGNers with examples to show off, ideally with both Romanian and Czech markings.
It'd be even more great to see a vet bring back...?

I'm a little surprised these aren't more popular or talked about while RC K98's are. These were typically made at the Bystrica and BRNO factories from 1936 to 1943 when the Germans ordered production switched to a standard K98k, but these all saw service in either the Whermacht or the Czech or Romanian Legions on the Eastern Front - they are every bit as much a Nazi Mauser as a dot or dou K98k.
