After many months of waiting and reading I finally got my new favorite firearm!

I managed to score one of the last shorties around, it's bone stock except for the Magpul CTR stock.

Up next is some folding sights, an EOTech and maybe a quad rail

Can't wait to take this badboy to the range !!!! :shotgun:

Well they're no longer being exported from the US. I grabbed the last .223 at Questar.. I think you'd be hard pressed to find one these days.

Not to be an ass but that is why State Department does not allow to export anything less than 16". If you and I can see this "pistol" what is stopping them to see it.

Nice AR though.

Simple if you're a govt. plebe.

A pistol is a pistol. A super deadly assault rifle is potential for the enemy to get one despite millions being spread all over the world and available to those who do want to do harm despite feel good laws.

The fact that they have the exact same receiver means nothing.

Ar shorty

shorty's ar are going up in value ,they are becoming harder to find.I think they are a good investment and um fun too! You just need some sights and a 10 round mag from questar.

The rail for the front sight is slightly lower than the rear sight would be. Does it matter? I'm thinking of picking up Troy folding sights.

I already have 10 round mags ready to rock ! :D

It only matters if you want to be able to zero the rifle. You'll have to find a front sight designed for the gas block, replace it with a picatinny block of the correct height, or (and this would be my choice) replace that horrible block with an A2 FSB.

FYI, People flaunting their "pistol" uppers on CGN with buttstocks attached is exactly why these aren't being approved for export anymore. Boy did we sure show those silly Americans.

ETA: It is a nice looking rifle.

If they're not exporting these pistol uppers anymore, then are they still "commonly available"?
Depends, quite a few do show up on the EE on a fairly regular basis, however, their prices normally reflect their rarity.

Thanks! The knife is from Busse Combat, one of the finest knife makers around. It's an LE Fusion Battle Mistress.

These babies came and went - now out of production in that configuration. Kinda like the 10.5 shortie in Canada ;)

I'm also kind of a knife nut, hehe... here's 2 more FBMs:
