It’s the part about “Sized for smaller shooters” that I’m curious about. Is the Micro Hunter too small for “average” sized shooters? Is it intended for female and Jr. shooters or……..?

Anyone here own or handled the Micro Hunter?

I handled one a couple of years back. The LOP is too short for me and I'm 5' 12".

.

Or 6 foot? :D

I like the shorter lop on this rifle. The stock is a bit shorter, as is the barrel. It's interesting to note Browning markets this rifle to smaller framed shooters, while Ruger markets their 16" compact to regular shooters looking for portability.

I got one in 325wsm.I'm 6'1 and I find the shorter lop quick to sholder, dosen't get caught in the armpit of a baggy cold weather hunting coat. The rifle is very comfortable (and accurate)to shoot even with heavy handloads.I want one now in 22 hornet.

My father is 5'3" and my brother and I are right around 5'6" - 5'7", my father picked up a Micro in 7mm-08 and in 22.25 but they are left handed. I like the size but found it a bit small and I like small guns.

My brother was shooting it one day and got a real nice scope kiss on his brow. Maybe with a little adjustment in scope position it would be ok but we found it a bit short, of course it was summer and we were both in t-shirts. Personally in a small gun, I like the Model Seven, I have yet to shoot one but the size was nice.
