i tried to find the maximum lenght of ammo for a rifle and i found out that the bullet is touching on one side all the way down to the minimum lenght in books? and the bullet start touching rifling at 68/1000 of an inch longer than maximum lenght for the caliber?

is there something i am doing wrong or it is only the chamber not in line with bore?

i did not used the bolt to test it with my dummy round and it still does so i dont know what cause this.

yes it fired with standard lenght. now i triy to maximize cartridge lenght.
It was shooting at around 1'' @ 100 yds before so i want better. it is a win model 70 in 300 wsm left hand featherweight

Check the run-out of your dummy round....and make sure the brass you're using for making the dummies has been fired in your chamber.....and just neck-sized.....

Just suggestions....
