The Capstick Hunting Collection Films

Has anyone seen these? Im a big fan of his writing and came across them on amazon. What was your opinion of them?

I had 3 of his videos years ago and they were pretty bad...........stick to his books, he's a way better writer than actor/hunter.........

I have his full collection of hard cover signed books ,but never seen any of his films ,he is a hell of a writer I will give him that ,,Dutch

Thanks for the input. The films were pretty pricey so i was kind of on the fence over it.

I own both Jack O'Connor and Fred Bear vintage video collections.
They are usually a disappointment.

The Capstick films are original 8mm. For me they are worth watching purely to watch an Africa of days gone by. I agree there a tad cheesy. Mr Capstick is shown quite a bit with either a beer or an iconic gin in his hand. He did shoot some magnificent trophies. If your looking for a high quality image not really the one for you, but if your into nostalgia old rifles and Africa of years gone by its pretty fun. But yes the books are better
