Hollowpoints, of course! What on earth else would I have been referring to?

Actually, here's another general rimfire query - what is:

(a) the least expensive rimfire hollowpoint out there,

(b) the deepest rimfire hollowpoint out there, and/or

(c) the best value rimfire hollowpoint out there?

I was thinking in terms of the .22 LR, but feel free to posit what you will...

I bought a box of Gameloads that were cheaper then what Walmart sells Dynapoints for. The hollowpoints on the Gameloads are also bigger and deeper then the hollowpoints of the Dynapoints.

as for the hollow point end of it i have 3 round's here, winchester super X, Remington sub sonic AND dynapoint...

Dynapoint has about a 1/64" indent in the tip

Remington SS has approx 1/8" deep hollow point and is just under 1/16" in diameter

Winchest SuperX is approx 3/16" deep and i'm going to guess a 3/64" opening

all measurement's taken with a good ole wooden toothpick.

You get a hundred more rounds with a brick of dynapoints over gameloads.

Cheapest I've seen lately is $15.75 with tax for 525 round federal bulk packs.

Not sure what the deepest hp is but the best hp for controlled expansion is the velocitor, which has a speer gold dot hp. The most explosive hp has got to be the quik shoks.

Not sure about deepest. Cheapest would have to be American Eagle or Winchester Dynapoint. I pick up Dynapoints alot, but am not fond of American Eagle. Overall, prefer CCI and, when I can find them, Lapua. Loathe Remington rimfire ammo.

I just bought 10,000 rnds of CCI Mini Mags:)
Maybe not the cheepest but they work flawlesly in my 10/22 and are prety accurate out of my CZ.
