Right on. I already own a Sabre Defence XR15CQBR, but am thinking about getting a Norinco CQ556 as a backup shooter (and parts). I would have liked to get a Norinco CQ-311, but they seem hard to track down these days.

I believe that the Norinco M4 is USGI. The CQ311 wasn't.

I got mine for 850$ + GST @ Moving target Awhile back when they first came out, that was including one mag only which worked for me as I had already stocked up on AR mags!!!

I believe that the Norinco M4 is USGI. The CQ311 wasn't.

Actually the Norc M4 is MilSpec (it's Iranian/Venezualan/Bolivian milspec, but it's still MILSPEC, dammit)- and aside from all of the crap that you hear, they are a ton of fun and a great way to get your feet wet with AR's.*

Epps has a ton in stock. I think around 18 units listed on their website. That would mean I get to see the M4 again next weekend. I think I'll buy this time around. Only thing I didn't like is the finish.

I wonder if Epps would knock some bucks off this unit. I plan to buy another $1k in reloading equipment.
