I alway wanted to date twins...when one gets boring you try the other  ... If you follow me you have seen my builds over the years they tend to be a little different..The" truck axle " rolling block in 32/40 was a beast . Ballards,Hepburns,Highwalls, Sharps and Stevens have passed through my hands over the years, I seem to go back to the simple Rolling Block easy to find parts for and elegant in their own right.

Thanks to my two friends who made these two dreams come true.....

First Rifle Top in picture, original 8mmx57r new KS Arms barrel in 1/10 twist .358 cut to 28” chambered in 35/40 Lucas, semi fancy Treebone wood with cheek rest with shotgun style metal butt, 6 X MVA scope, Red River front globe sight with spirit level, James Brown side lever conversion. Parent cartridge is a 38/55 or 30/30 blown out to a .358 dia. bullet similar in design to 35/40 Maynard 1882

Second rifle is a number 5 action orig. in 7mm , contoured to a 1 1/2 sporting configuration, Ron Smith gain twist barrel cut to 28" chambered in 32/40 , Tree bone wood no cheek rest ,shotgun style metal butt plate, 6 X MVA scope 28” , Red River front globe with spirit level , James Brown side lever . Both rifles were built with bench shooting in mind or off shooting sticks , both barrels are heavy round profile 1.25” full length no taper with 11 degree target crown.

Both rifle were built with ease of finding components. The 30/30 case can be used for both rifles in a pinch … 32/40 and or 38/55 are hard to find sometimes…I always wanted to date twins and now I can… and chase that perfect group. CDN

Gorgeous, but aren't those assault style falling blocks? Don't let Gary Puddin'Pop see them. He'll offer you the chance to get money if you agree to turn them in to...well, we're not sure where; and we aren't sure how much the government might give you for them...but safety. Think of the safety. The government is concerned for your safety.

Yes they are assault rolling blocks … they will be assaulting a target at 200 yds and maybe a steel plate or two sagebrush long shots style or even better a live target that lives in a hole.

Very nice pairing here. I am not familiar with your rear scope mounts, never seen them before. i have two replica tube scopes , both brass, 14 & 32 inch, one has Unertyl style rear mount the other has a big heavy "Malcolm" style

both scope mounts are from MVA, you can pick the style of mounts when you order a scope , or buy them separately.
top rifle has Schuetzen mounts and lower rifle has the Creedmoor with MOA knobs
