The closing of One Shot Tactical

I knew OTS will quit firearms related business at the least eventually. I don't know how many of you noticed their firearms and related inventory varietis was slowly become lesser over the past years compare to on their earlier years. They were becoming more into outdoor store.
Regardless of anything, sorry to see OTS go and best of luck in your future endeavor.

Sew that is the issue. Osts was never a gun shop. Darren has said that many ,many times.
Osts has always been a gear shop. At the hight of the war it was 80% tac gear
In the last few years it has been mostly. Outdoor products.
Change with the times.

Loved OST from the beginning back from when they got TAG. I still run my TAG small pack. They had some great lines over the years but I personally started to lose interest a few years ago when it became more of an outdoor store than anything else. Don't get me wrong, I did spend quite a bit there (including a complete SR-15, 2 pairs of Lowas, HSGIs, Arcteryx, BFG, TAG etc) and always had outstanding service but the shift away from the tactical side 3 years ago had them moved quite down my list of favourites. I will still miss them and Darren did some outstanding work to get KAC and other brands (TAG BFG) that were not being sold North of the border and for this, I will always be grateful. Good luck Darren in your new endeavours.

Darren any chance theres a pair hiding in the back?

thanks for the work you guys did in the industry, I purchased an HSGI weesatch from you guys almost a decade ago and its still my go to!
 
Can you give us any idea what direction your heading in?
Are you still going to be involved with shooting, LAV etc?

I didn't read all 12 pages of this thread, so I apploagize if it's been asked but is there any chance you have any team canada hats left?? I tried to call several time and haven't been able to get through.

I'm staying in the industry however I want a clean break between OSTS and going forward so I'll be waiting till most things are finalized before spreading the word.

Possibly be doing more shooting.

LAV and I are good friends and are always talking. I'll probably be involved to some degree if/when he visits again.
