The Corwin M44 I ordered arrived

Hang onto the SVT. They are getting harder to find and they are just plain bad-ass. Even if you're not using it a lot. You will regret selling it if you do.
 
Took her out today for a first run.
Probably the silkiest, most glass like cycling Mosin action/bolt I've ever operated. It felt like an effortless, teflon glide. Amazing.
The mag also loaded extremely easy. Sometimes Mosin mag ramps are stiff or seat the rounds stubbornly. Not this one.
Accuracy, fair I guess. Bayo out and in. I was hitting torso sized targets off hand in rather quick succession, so what what more does one want or expect with this rifle, right?
I was standing, no rest, and my arms were wobbling today too and I forgot my sling which I usually hand wrap with for a more secure grip.
No spotter either, and walking the 75ish yards got old fast lol.
 
Oh, and if you want to reduce the felt recoil if one of these carbines, shoot a box of shells out if a 14" 590A1 first lol!
After that, this M44 felt like an SKS.
