The Cost of Deer Hunting Explained...

I don't care what the cost! It's worth that ten fold. We love to hunt and that's the point. As hunters we share something that most others will never experience! This to me has no price tag. Take care fellas.

Quir whinning about the $$$

Try an Argentine Dove Hunt, Mexico for Ducks, Cuba for Quail or even Africa for something with unusual horns !

Sorta like a Yacht .... If you have to ask "How Much", you probably shouldn't be doing it.

$ 100 a pound for Venison sounds like a pretty good deal. Quail at $ 75 a bird is like 300 + a pound ... but then there is the January warmth, no snow, the palm trees, the rum, and, ....Oh, those latino signorinas !!!

7 trips this Fall since the season opened from 2 days to 7 days and in between, spent at a minimum, $200 on gas per trip, but saved on the ### bribes since I took a puss with me most times. Prolly sitting around $20/lb but theres still time to spend all the X-mas kitty.
 
My butchering bill this year was for over three quarters of a ton of Venison... We did split up the cost though... with the sausage it was around $1900.00.... no kidding!
 
man so far i been in the bush for deersince nove 7 and bear since sept 1 8 times and to-morrow is my last trip havent tagged anything but my total costs so far $8 for pop (dont drink coffe or beer) 40 for smokes and boss lets me use the company vehicle and I dont drive far enough for him to notice fuel loss out of the ordinary everything else clothes binos etc i got as gifts from the wife over the past couple of years
the rifle i use is a bubba'd enfield i got last summer and the ammo is from my stockpile i been building for the past year or 2
and i butcher my own so theres no loss there
