The Cost to Shoot Various Rounds

This was posted to Facebook and it was thought provoking. It doesn't state what's what, but some are obvious. The cost seems to be for factory ammo, as I shoot handloaded 338 Lapua for far less than $5.50 a pop, but it's really not too far from what I see.

Looks like 22LR, ?, 9mm Luger, 357 Mag, 45 ACP?, 223, 308, 12 gauge, 338 Lapua and 50 BMG.

My friends wanting to go shooting so often is one of the main reasons I started handloading, and more recently, casting. Definitely helps

Yup... it costs money... but as for friends wanting to go shooting, it is an investment in the future of shooting sports... money well spent, IMO.

C.E. Harris' "The Load". Great way to do a lot of larger cartridge shooting cheap. Lesser recoil makes it a pleasure & does not discourage newbies.
