Yes... 50 coming in?!

So... being number 53 a couple weeks ago and having sent in my CC info should mean I am in ;)

Can hardly wait...

TSE JR - Are the Hot Lip mags Clear, Smoke or Black (or unknown)? - doesn't matter actually, I guess I'd prefer Smoked. But it's all good... I just want this hot little beauty in my hands :)
 
Anyone have any idea where/who will/does carry a lower rail which will fit this thing?

I realize no one has one yet... but I thought I'd ask since there are quite a few discussions going on in various other forums.

Anyway, I almost ordered a rail I thought would work from the US...

but then I saw that they were going to charge me $50 for shipping.

Anyone else have any other ideas? Any airsoft crap that would work? I just want to be able to attach a vertical grip :)

You may want to get yours in hand before making that call. I suspect with the aluminum recievers, plastic stock, and honking big bull barrel that this may be a sandbags wet dream. A forward grip might not be the perfect accessory, but I suspect a bipod would work well.
 
True, it will ultimately depend on what it feels like when I get it... but, I don't think it will be heavier than an AR or my CX4 Storm ;)

I just think that a 25rnd magazine (50rnd teardrop even better) and vertical grip with red-dot sight is just going to be too hard a temptation to resist.

God, I hope no one mines maxing out the magazines at the local range... :)

I'll be happy to pay for mine whenever it gets here, but I believe JR said we're looking at at least one more full week, so likely two knowing Murphy.

As for balance, the ones coming in likely have a fatter barrel than in your photo. I'd be suprised if the balance point isn't a we bit further forward than the mid-length AR.

We do leave messages and we do give people a couple of days to get back to us... As the Rhinelands are not even here yet, there is no need to panic (yet.. :wink: )

Called JR at TSE today... yippie i'm #150 or so on the list !!! Guess that means i might be lucky enough to hold my r22 before xmas...

what do you guys figure our chances are that mr. goverment will make these sweet gems a prohibited/restricted rifle in the future.... kinda like they did with the bullpup .22lr ???

As for the PM sent to fed007, im kinda glad you never recieved my message, sounds like your too eager to make a buck off a fellow gunnut !!! :?
 
Actually the bullpup .22lr is prohibited.

I don't think the R22 could ever be a restricted as it's a rimfire and not a handgun, unless they somehow linked the trigger to the following rule:

"• The firearm of the design commonly known as the M-16 rifle, and any variant or modified version of it, including the:

Any 22 calibre rimfire variant, including the:

1. Mitchell M-16A-1/22,
2. Mitchell M-16/22,
3. Mitchell CAR-15/22, and
4. AP74 Auto Rifle."
 
Sooo if these are coming from Texas and have not been shipped to Alberta yet I wonder if the wee storm about to hit texas will delay things.

Edit: I see they are just outside of Dallas, way up north.
 
Your hunch is incorrect :(

I was at TSE this morning and was told they are still in the process of shipping from the exporter (or to the exporter?). Anyway, another week or two yet.
