The paperwork should be done real soon.

We will be shipping the 2nd Generation to Canada. So far on all the rifles the accuracy is coming in even better than expected.

A couple things about the R22 that you all may want to let me know about. We set the rifles up in a target configuration, this means our chambers are extremely tight and will not work with CCI ammuntion. We can correct that here if you all like that type of ammo. But generally it will decrease accuracy with other types of ammo.

Also, the best magazine to use and by far are the Eagle 30 rounders. None of the others work well, the 2nd generation may be better with Ramline but we will have to see. Also all 10 rounders work great.

The BC hotlips loaded to only about 18 rounds works good, but only for awhile. The R22 tears them up pretty fast. The BC steel lips are giving a bit of a problem but hopefully there is just a break in period. I have seen it before with those mags.

We may have most of that fixed on the 2nd generation model.

$275 shipped(like new) will get you this, super clear, i mean clear steel scope, It holds zero very well, but without a rail it just about made it to the 700 meter mound, used mildot to get a hit at that range.
Anyway, switched to a scope with more elevation, Aand this scope would preform on the rifle on the post.
here it is

Dear Rhineland1 and TSE guys;

1) Which bipod make/model do you recommend (that allows fitting the 25-30 rds. mags) ?

2) How is the bipod mounted ? Do you provide a sling swivel with the R22, a short picatinny rail, or simply nothing ... ?

3) What will be the warranty and will TSE be able to do the servicing if there's a recall/upgrade to be done ?

On the Bipods, the Harris, Coldwell and B-Square are all great. They mount onto a swivel stud that we include with the rifle. It screws into any of the 5 or so locations on the bottom of the rifle.

I dont have any recomendation as they are all different. I have not tried the Coldwell but do have the others.

I am not sure about warranty work. No sending it back to Texas thats for sure. I am going to make sure they are perfect. One reason why they are going with the 2nd generation.

Of course this has "tail-light-warranty"

Just kidding...

All warranty work will be done by us. You will not have to worry about dealing with the USA.

:)

Friends of mine who ask for computer help get my standard 30/30 warranty...

30 seconds or 30 feet, whichever comes first!

Glad to hear that there's going to be support for these rifles. I'm looking forward to seeing them show up.

How are the .17 HM2 versions coming along? I'm willing to wait for one that works, and has the bolt mass issues that I've heard rumblings about figured out.

As for the chambers, well, if someone wants to buy a good quality rifle and stick crap ammo in it, then they should expect crap accuracy too...personally, with a good rifle, I tend to stick to good ammo. Go with the slightly tighter chamber, and for those of us who can be dummies about it, tie-wrap a warning label into the magwell/chamber stating the suggested types of ammo for use. (and those to avoid!)

Pleased to hear that these are coming, and I'm one of the patient ones...I'm overseas in Germany right now, so I wouldn't be able to buy it right now even if it was in Canada!!!

Keep up the good work, and PLEASE keep us posted with any new updates that you have (both Rhineland and TSE!)
