The countdown begins!

Okay, okay...

We did not want to go public until it was actually going to happen.

We (TSE) are going to be importing these bad boys. Now just to set the record straight, we do not get much of a break on these as the manufacturer is SMALL and they are trying to get the costs down so don't think we are gouging when we set the price. We are also NOT bringing in kits initially as well, only completed firearms and of course parts.

To keep things as reasonable as possible, we will not be "distributing" these immediately, only retailing them. Stay tuned!

If you want your name on the list for one of the R22's, drop us a line. NO DEPOSITS required until we have our export license approved.

Please, all of you hot and heavy over this rifle, please, take a DEEP breath.

It will be AT LEAST 3-4 months bfore we see any rifles and we will not fix the price at this time.

However they should be in the order of around $500 (ish).

I'll keep you posted as things develop.

$500 8)

Last question I promise
Will there be a 17hm2 version?

My best guess is that there will be eventually, but initially they are likely to all be .22lr.

Never fear. The design is well suited to swapping out another barrel.

:?: Any chance on getting a short barrel?(ie 12") There was talk of a short barrelled version earlier this year.

That would be cool, but I wonder if that would be a problem with The US State Department. It would be legal here but NFA there. I don't know if shipping the barrels seperately is a legal option on the US side. My understanding is that the State Department don't usually approve export permits for NFA items for civilian sales.

R22

These look great..... sounds like they are going to make a version with MP5 Style front handgaurds..... Goddam that would be the cats ass

However these first run pics look nice as is....especialy in the Parkerized or dark powdered finish.. im just not a real fan of the long triangular handgaurds.. MP5 style would set that sucker off.

Pssssss...TSE wait for the MP5 style

I think I seen on another board that there is no chance for a MP5 version or a model with retractable stock.

The nice part about the modular design is there is always room for improvement later.

I doubt that there will be much initial variety until the back orders are filled, but if there is a demand for a different barrel shroud style, or stock, I'm betting it will appear in time.

I'm possibly quite wrong on this, but I believe the stock is a box stock H&K. From the inletting on the upper reciever, I would imagine that the standard retractable stock would fit.

Experts????

For now, I'm just lining up to get the first model TSE can import, and I'll whore it out later if needs be

Jesus H Christ, I just noticed this thread has over 1000 views. Anybody doubt TSE will be able to sell all they can get :D :D
