ETA: Many thanks to Kako911 at SOCOM Supply and Bad Boy Beeson at S&J Hardware! Thanks for putting up with my neophyte questions, and for the stupidly agreeable pricing I got from both of you!
ETA(again) I can't forget Walt at ArmsEast! Great service there too!

What in gods sweet sweet name did you do to those guns? Eugene Stoner would be appalled, what that gun really needs is an A1 upper, fixed rifle stock, and a set of ###y triangle grips, mmmmmmmm sweet jesus hallelujah. And what happend to that remington, the wood grip and stock? They just get up and walk away? The only people who need pistol grips are criminals and murderers.

Heh, he was.

I was compelled to post pics of these. I'm almost dizzy, with a couple of trips to the range now, they're getting broken in.

Now I just need some bulk .223, and life will be great.

I'm thinking an Aimpoint Micro on the shotty. The adapter is great! I got the package in the mail just AFTER I got home from the range, so I haven't shot it yet, but it feels great, and points well.

So far I've got just over 200 rounds through it, and it's shooting better than me. I've had zero issues with my AR, zero malfunctions. I'm also really happy with the KX3, when you're shooting the rifle it feels fairly quiet, but step back a foot or two...
