So we went up for a walk tonight to check my trail cam, it seems the mule deer have chosen to bed in front of it many times and I had 356 pictures over the past three weeks. It also seems that the local coyotes have figured out where this spot is as well and are waiting for new borns I would imagine. I wont bore you with the hundreds of pics of deer bedded but here are some of the more interesting ones.

Here are a few sequences of pics I got on the cam:

You can see the coyote coming up the trail in the second pic:

In this one it looks like the deer put the run on the coyote :)

Nice. Now I wanna see a pic of you holding up that yote!!!

Ya, well the most embarrassing part is I missed one three times tonight as he ran full bore towards us(he didn't know we were there) and made my god daughter cry cause I scared the crap out of her with the noise of the .270 . She was about 40 yards behind me standing with my wife but she got over it in about three seconds. She wont let go of the fact that I didn't get him though . Damn kids  :D

Lol....well now you HAVE to get it......for the children! :p

The yote are strong this year. easy winter. Over the past week, I've had three different dogs come into my turkey decoys 4 times. They are coming withing 20 yards of me before the turn out. Really peeving me off when I have turkey right behind me and yotes in the field in front. Can't wait until turkey season is over, those dogs are labelled.

Time to pack the 45 Colt Davey. Inside 400yds those 270's are plain no good.

Nice to hear you are getting the God Daughter brought up right. Need to get her around Reid and Hannah, they just squeal now at a gunshot.."whoa that was loud Daddy!" Got to love kids walking around with those Husqvarna ear muffs on.

Haha! Gotta hate having an audience when that happens. :pNever ceases to amaze me how those critters can find another gear at every missed shot... Uh, when I've witnessed others missing, you understand...:redface:
