Here she is boys! I stained the stock last night where I had to plain it down and with lack of an AK trunny I just Dremeled out
a tail from a peice of metal from an old SKS-D stock. Notice my extended mag release from Dlask which I highly recomend. Enjoy!

It's a little hight yes. I don't have much of a problem with it, but I think it would be perfect if someone had a rail and, say, a red dot on one.
 
Thanks. After I got the other wood furniture on 'er I just HAD to have a wood but stock too. A wood CZ58 buttstock I didn't have...but a wood AK stock I did. Made sence at the time. Makes more now.

Only one problem....not sure what looks better...this or the folder.
 
One or two more National Geographics on that book shelf and your next project will involve drywall repair. :)

Nice job on the stock! It looks like you replaced the other wood pieces (grip, forend). If so, mayI ask where those came from?

You got some sort of trouble with my choise in Hunting arms there Thor?

Salvo: The wood came from a parts from Wolverine Supplies. If you want some call them and ask for a parts kit with the WOOD stock. It costs more but looks WAY better.

PS: The shelf is anchord into the wood wall studs with LONG screws but yeah, a few more "Gun Digests" may be the straw that broke the camel's back.

At least he gets to go out and play with it, all I can do with my "evil" guns is look at them, maybe if people see someone using this rifle that is non-restricted they will realise how stupid most of the 12(5) provisions are and I can take my AK's out to play too. Or are you the type of person who would get upset when I show up with AK's and FN's?
You are giving into the "if it looks bad it must be" philosophy.
