As for hunting Thor, Does it matter if we "blastem" with a .54 Lyman trade rifle or a CZ 858? I see no difference as long as no laws are being broken. We buy our hunting licences Legally. And that its a clean kill. Its just individual preference.

Yes - VZ858's are unrestricted.
Yes - VZ858’s are not AK's - they have significantly different mechanics.
Yes - You can hunt with whatever firearm you want.
Yes - A Remington 700 in the hands of a marksman is more lethal than a
VZ858.

I like making a statement. I can see what your getting at but I think it will only help to have these firearms become as ordanary as any other arm to the public. I've never had anyone be "shocked and discusted", most people are courious.

Can't hide away forever.

Levi: I'm sure it's a little heavier. The ak stock is not as light as the presswood one. but i don't notice it.
 
Ljungman... Nice!!! And I say... "Hunt with whatever gun you want as long as it's legal" Carry your papers and be in the "right" for the eventual problems you may have with the conservation officers or police...

You need the Soviet AK grenade launcher as well.
 
Long project. The AK grip is larger at the top. You'd have to shave it down and reshape it. Possible I guess.
 
I've "placed" an AK grip where it would go, laid the rifle on the floor and looked at it. I like the wood CZ grip better. The AK one just dosen't look so nice some how....
 
I'd walk around in the bush with the blackest most evil looking rifle out there solely to "make a statement". I'm really sick of old hunters giving me dirty looks when I'm at the range with my SKS. I usually pump off 5 shots as fast as I can when they do.
