I was supposed to get out hunting but my damn nose wont stop bleeding. Went to doc and he burned it. Everything was fine till i bent over to #### the bow. My nose just about exploded. My hunting partner followed the blood trail to the truck.lol as im waiting in truck for my bud a nice doe and 6 pt buck go by . I try to get up but the nose bleed was just to bad.monday to get it burned again. Got only a few weeks left to get my deer.

I caught a t-bar across the bridge of my nose while skiing when I was a kid. It was fully extended and let go catching me right in the face. Needless to say it never did heal properly. To make a long story short I have always had bad nosebleeds most of my life until 5 years ago. When I say bad I mean if you had a Tim Hortons coffee cup, I could pretty much fill it in a minute or two.
I kept going to Emergency for the bad ones and during one of the visits they set up an appointment with a ENT specialist. I show up for my appointment and this Dr. gets farther up my nose with his scope than any other Dr. had and starts saying hmmm, I see.... Basically there was a vein that was bent over the break from when I was a kid and it broke open once in a while and the flood gates would open. He took a blob of silver nitrate and put it on the vein and that was it. It sizzled and popped while he applied it but it hasn't re-occurred since.
Get in to see a ENT guy and they will fix it for good.

If you wake up in the middle of the night with a hoofmark charred onto your derriere, then you will know that the venison demons have surely struck.
I had the same sort of problem, with multiple silver nitrate burns. The burns helped for a while, but then it would start bleeding again and I'd get it burnt again. I went to a different doctor, and he said, "Oh, you just need to keep it hydrated". WTF! So I go and buy some nasal saline gel spray, and when I remember to use it, my nose is fine. Go figure, wish I knew that 5 years ago.
