The Downside of Being a Lifelong Trophy Hunter......

Haha seems that's the main thing I hear from retirees .

Dictionary said it was slang .

Like break the bank

Old French for treasury of the government

Where did the mighty Hunter run off too ?

Why the hell is this back up.............Retirement is when my kid pays me stay away, kinda like a remittance man, like WDM Bell..........He pays me to stay away and I go hunting, I'm still a few years from the Gov't cheque though..............

I don't know:confused:. The way you were gasping and coughing on the thread "Wednesday at the rifle range", you may be closer than you think.
Laugh2

My fault entirely. I was looking for the photos on how you loaded the sea can (I'm still trying to round up the resources to move all mine East) and then I decided that it should be on the front page again.

The room is not finished yet and the seacan has not even moved from Whitehorse let alone been unpacked. Patience Grasshopper, patience............I just ordered my custom built pool table on the 23 of Jan, it will be another 5 or 6 weeks and the mounts another 8-10 weeks. It is all coming together..............

Douglas... beware condensation in the seacan... be a crime to open a mouldy mess...

Seacan is vented and there is no such thing as condensation in the Yukon with an average humidity of 2%.........Mould just doesn't exist in the Yukon other than on my bread and cheese.

BUM........the nice thing about using seacans is they are always in demand, so if you don't have a long term use for it, it is a highly saleable item. And if you buy a good one it will still be weather tight, so no fear of water damage to your valuable items. They also make wonderful storage units and shops if you don't want to sell it. I am going to put a metal pitched roof over my two and paint them to my color scheme to match the rest of my buildings and use one for weather tight storage of garden tractors and lawn mowers and the such and the other can be my kids toy garage for his sled, motorcycle and quad, and get them the hell out of my shop !!!!

Maybe in the real world. These guys out here...not so sure you could sell anything to them.

I hear ya there........the people around here only spend money when it is pried from their cold, dead hands and most of them are over 70 and have 6 digit and even approaching 7 digit bank accounts............I'm really shakin' them up, buying tractors and building new shops and additions on the house, proper fencing around the property, new Husqvarna ride mower..........they don't know what to think........long boxes coming in the mail 2,3,4 times a month, sometimes a week. (the post lady tells everyone I'm sure, she's like that)
