That is the plan. An A2 build, my first. :D
My safe needs another AR. I was planning to paint it Bright pink, for the wife, and to trick my daughters into not being afraid of the AR. I think i like it too much already though for that.
 
I started with a 20" yaers ago. Then I worked my way down to 10.5" over time. Now I'm back to the 20" and would never look back.

Got the bloody thing already! Good gawd! Couple q's. Does anyone know if the triangular HG end by the FSB is only for the triangular HG's, or can the A2 style work too? Never had a rifle length AR so i am not sure.

And HBAR is DAMN heavy!!! I mean wow! I can see myself getting it turned down in the future.

Works on mine with no issues.
 
I have a whole slew of uppers, it really depends on what your looking for in an upper as to what barrel length you want.

I have a 18" Krieger SS barrel - it shoot great - but I never shoot it...

Personally I won't be buying any 5.56mm guns for a long time, I have a suppressed .300BK project I'm doing for my wife, and so thats my focus atm.

Unless your shooting Long Range matches a 16" barrel is going to do all you need - from 0-600m.

That said whatever floats your boat.
 
Apparently my grandfathering of the sigline requirements expired.
I went to update my title here and my ph# and it said my sig line was too big and I could not use my email or website.

1. What is a Colt 20" comp H Bar 1 in 9 twist, no bayonet lug on FSB worth new?
2. What is a Colt complete upper including semi BCG worth with same barrel as above?

Holy hell these are hard to find ! Especially ones that aren't 1-9" twists.

Time to buy at .223 Wylde reamer, methinks...
