The End of the CZ 452 Production, Updated.

So does this mean there are going to start offering the 455 in left hand, or will they continue to produce left hand 452s?

I've not studied these much, but have a lefty .22 at the back of my mind for a few years. Is the Lux suited to a scope? Or are you better off with the American?

I've a big head so I doubt the extra drop on the Lux would be an issue

Have a BRNO #5 and my son a CZ 452 lux...........would prefer the American walnut stock over the European style.....if you can find the 10 rd steel mags they are nice......Harold

Screw it. Bought the LH Lux .22 lol

17 minutes from your previous post. You work fast! :)

I recently acquired a 453 Lux and my intention was to keep it "irons only", as I have a 452 Varmint for the dirty work all scoped up. After shooting it a few times though, I came back to the same conclusion as before, my eyes don't really work with iron sights anymore. So it'll be getting glassed in the future as well. Something classy! ;)

Enjoy your new .22!

Same deal. I've just been put into progressives, so a scope seems likely, but I like a nice set of sights as a reminder of what a rifle should be ;)

Oh, I can be very weak willed. I've never seen a lefty anywhere when I had both the thought to look for one and some spare cash.

I had a BRNO years ago - my fathers, really. He sold it during the great C-68 downsizing. Loved it and thought of buying another, but just try to find one with the aperture sights for under $800. Plus I wanted a LH gun. A lifetime of shooting backwards guns - I deserve at least ONE proper one!
