The export of high capacity magazines over 32 rounds is now prohibited.

why is this even an issue......us Canadians have been restricted to 10 rounds for quite some time.....not a shocker.
If you can't hit something with 10 rounds or reload fast enough then you need to practice more.

The noose is tightening around our freedoms.
Time to buy mags for guns I don't even own, just to have some cool prohibited stuff.

One click at a time the ratchet tightens... click click click click click. Until there's nothing left to tighten up on.

:jerkit::jerkit::jerkit:

The only thing left is to go underground and ignore all the bullsh!t laws.

Our Canadian manufacturers need to step up their firearm parts/accessories production.

It does sound like a business opportunity for those so equipped. At least until the gestapo shut that down as well.

Does it matter if the magazines are .22rf? I plan on taking a 50 rd drum, .22lr into the USA for hunting in a few days on a 6NIA. Will they stop me from taking it back home?

I would be awfully careful about that if I were you. Regardless of the legal details, if you get into a pissing contest with a government agent you will lose.

i dont own a GLock or any rifle that take those mags, ordered 4 of them just in case.

If nothing else it is likely a sound investment strategy.

Why even allow 10 rounds?

If you cant hit it on the first shot or reload a single shot action in time, maybe you are not qualified to own a firearm in the first place.

Good!! Lord knows if you can't hit it with the first 32 shots, 33 or more will just be embarrassing!! (Very much like that Survivor showdown where they had to provide kindle, tinder, matches, gas and a Zippo lighter for the fire making challenge!!)

Who said there was just one "it" ?

So is Canada saying they don't want anymore in the country ?

Or is the US saying that they aren't allowing any more export of these?

If the US is saying this, there had to been some behind closed talks with Canada and the US agreed to changed the export rules and drop this BS

there is no way the US would give 2 $hits about these mags

Canada totally had something to do with this
