The fastest gun SAA

I saw him live in Idaho, he is as good as he looks, he also tuned some colts for me, he is good at that too. Bob M's only problem is his ego is as big as his talent.

I'd love to see him in IDPA or IPSC style shooting. Or any of the steel challenge or bowling pin matches.

I think it would be interesting to see how his skills translate. Keeping in mind that those shots are coming from a single-action revolver, I can't imagine how fast he'd be with a tuned up 1911.

Munden's the fastest human alive, ever, just ask him!

Met him in Missoula at the gun show...he's a short little chubby guy, but interesting to talk to. He did ask about Canadian gun laws and seemed genuinely interested. The comment that made me laugh was...He said "You got funny accent"...I replied "and just WHO has the funny accent...y'all". He got a good chuckle out of that.

Shooting balloons with blanks at close range is like
using a shotgun. But he is very fast,I to would like
to see him shoot reactive targets with the same
gun.:cool::cool:

Quick and nifty, but un-aimed (at least in the normal not from the hip sense) would be a no go here in canuckistan, and I suspect at any SASS matches too. I suspect he knows this since his badge shown is from the "end of trail" event. Fast draw and the like with wax bullets is more common and I think is a "sister" sport to SASS. Don't see it up here too much I think.

Who is the guy on Shooting USA imposible shots that does all the quick draw stuff?
Thankfully I've forgotten the name of the quick draw artist that shoots wax bullets!
(and no I'm not refering to Jerry M or Bob Munden, both of them the real deals IMHO)
It's the "hairdresser from Kali" with the perpetual sneer on his poser face.
Although he does have some quick reflexes, his character appears, half full/ half empty in front of the camera, I myself believe.

No idea how his skills would translate to a competition match, but I suggest most guys would be hard pressed to beat him if he was getting mugged.:)

Be crazy to pull a knife or even a gun on him, you would be dead before you decided to rob him!:p

Exactly! I love how guys tear Munden apart on gun forums, it has been happening for years. I won't deny the fact that he is an arrogant prick, pretty sure he knows it as well, part of the show.

I would love to see some of the deniers beat him. The man has some serious skills with a firearm, there is no denying that fact...

Arrogant, yes. But I have a feeling that if he wasn't arrogant, he would be poor.:)

And he knows it too...;)

Best way for a "detractor" to "put him in his place" would be to beat him, over and over. And Munden is old now, so really you would have to beat his TIMED shoots at his prime to really impress.

All records will be beaten, but I still ain't going to mug Munden, even with a drawn pistol, because honestly, he could get his out and shoot faster than most could pull the trigger.;)
