The finest shotgun $89 can buy

#### no

I value my eyeballs and fingers way more then trusting them to an $89 shotgun. If I wanted a beater shotgun I'm with Looky and would find an old Cooey.

And if I actually thought I would need a gun for animal defense, again, I value my life more then $89.

Good luck, and I mean it.

Obviously you wouldn't buy this proven design then.

I've got the Turkish gun, handy little piece and good value for the money, definitely safe.

As with many other products, it's a race to the bottom by the buying public, completely oblivious to the fact that this is why so many products are $hit. When price is the overriding consideration, the quality of choice goes away.

"They just don't make (insert your consumer goods of choice) like they used to."

Why not? It can be the worst shotgun in the world, but if its the ONLY one at $89 its still the finest $89 shotgun.
Agreed. Also if there were 3 or 4 models to choose from in the $89 category this could be the "finest" in the prescribed group (that being $89 shotguns). Now, if the OP had said "here is a "fine" $89 shotgun", well, that would be a gross misnomer.

Actually, they sell for about twice that here, are you happy now ?

You know yer in dire straights when the shewtzsgun is lighter than the trigger pull weight........... me thinks

An't that the truth.
A fellow could put a shock absorber record pad on it, but that is worth more than the gun.
Thou for a barn gun, I could see it, them have a fork as back up.

There is, supposedly, a British joke that goes like this:

How do you double the value of a Baikal (shotgun)?

You drop two cartridges in it.

(Yes, this is not a Baikal discussion, but I’m guessing many who won’t ever buy a Turkish shotgun might consider owning a Baikal).
